Inlämnade H:r Grefwe Ekeblad, et påfund at igenom magnetnålens inclination finna Longituden af Herr le Croix en Mathematicus i Paris, hwilket blifwit H:r Ekeblad anförtrodt af Auctor at igenom den Swenska Ministern uti London praesentera för Kungl. Engelska Societeten, hwilket också är skedt, men sielfwa invention har ei blifwit approberad, dock berömd som den där kunde gifwa anledning til andra nyttiga speculationer, i hwilken mening också H:r Grefwe Ekeblad upwiste den för Kungl. Academien, och blef därföre lemnad til H:r Prof. Klingenstierna at gifwa til Kungl. Academien sin berättelse därom.
